The gel and the cream are both applied to the scalp, and it works to stop hair loss, according to a new study.

Dr. Nierenberg, a dermatologist and hair loss specialist in the Netherlands, and colleagues looked at clinical trials that showed the treatment of hair loss with finasteride, one of the most popular and popular treatments for male pattern baldness, works in only one area of the scalp at a time.

Finasteride, which is available as a tablet, is taken daily by mouth to reduce hair loss and promote hair growth in areas of the scalp where hair loss is common.

The researchers looked at 90 men who took one of the three treatments, including 5 patients taking finasteride for two years, and 90 patients taking a placebo. The results were mixed and showed that men who took finasteride for two years were five times more likely to have hair loss in their scalps than men who took a placebo.

Finasteride is also approved by the U. S. Food and Drug Administration for treating male pattern hair loss. It works by stimulating the production of hair follicles, which helps to stop hair loss and promote hair growth.

The research was published in theArchives of Dermatology.

The study, published in theJournal of the American Academy of Dermatology., was conducted at a research center in the Netherlands. The men were asked to take the gel and topical cream applied to the scalp twice a day for six months.

Researchers found that after the six months, finasteride-treated men had a five-times greater chance of having hair loss in their scalps than men who didn't take the treatment. They also found that the treatment reduced the hair count by 30 percent.

The researchers, from Amsterdam University Medical Center, and colleagues also looked at a group of patients who had taken finasteride for a year, and those who didn't take the treatment were significantly more likely to have hair loss in the scalp. They also found that there was no difference in hair counts among the three treatment groups, even though a similar group of patients in another study in the same field was treated with the same treatment.

Finasteride is the only treatment for male pattern hair loss approved by the FDA for the treatment of male pattern baldness. The drug is available as a tablet, and the product was marketed by Merck & Co.

Nierenberg, from the Amsterdam University Medical Center, and colleagues analyzed the data from 90 men who had taken finasteride for one year, compared it with 90 men who took a placebo. After the six months, the men who took finasteride for one year had a 20 percent higher chance of having hair loss in their scalps than those who didn't take the treatment. In comparison, the men who took the placebo were five times more likely to have hair loss in the scalps.

The researchers say that the results provide additional evidence that finasteride is an effective treatment for male pattern hair loss.

"The results showed that finasteride was more effective than the placebo in reducing hair loss," said lead author R. L. Liss. "This is important because there is still a question of whether finasteride may have additional benefits for male pattern hair loss."

Liss is a professor of dermatology at the University of Amsterdam and director of the Institute for Clinical Research in Amsterdam.

Hi all, I have been on finasteride for about 4 yrs now for the same thing, I was prescribed Proscar by my doctor and he prescribed to me 5mg. The reason I was prescribed Proscar was because my hair was thinning and I wanted to try and stop it completely. The doctor told me that it is not recommended to stop taking Proscar because of the possibility of a serious skin condition and the possibility of getting bald. I was told that if I did not stop the medication I could go bald, but it would be very risky. I am not taking finasteride. It's been about 3 months now since starting this and I still haven't noticed anything as much. So it's worth a try.

I've been taking Proscar for years. In fact I've been on it for years. It works best if you take it on an empty stomach. If you have any other questions or concerns ask your doctor or pharmacist. I was put on it for a year as it didn't work and I was prescribed Proscar by a doctor for the first time. It's not been that long. I still haven't noticed anything. Any input would be helpful, Thanks in advance.

Dheheh, you're welcome, I've been on it for about a year and a half now, it works great, I have never tried it, but now I've noticed things, so I've started taking it for a year and a half now. I've been on Proscar for a year now. If you have any more questions, please dont hesitate to reach out.

Thanks for the advice.

P. S. I take Finasteride to combat male pattern baldness. It's not a drug that should be taken every day, like it does in my body, but a daily dose that I take each day, and then once daily.

Thanks for your response, I feel better now but I can't keep on taking the medicine at the same time. I'm still a young man and have no confidence in myself and my ability to take the medicine and keep it in my body. I would like to try it again next time and see how it goes. Thanks

Dheheh, I have had it for about 4 years now, and it was a long time ago. I have always been a bit nervous about taking Proscar, but I am not taking it anymore. I'm just worried about losing my hair as well as my confidence, but I'm still a bit nervous.

I'm not going to take Proscar, I was prescribed it by my doctor because I was worried about hair loss and hair loss. I was prescribed Proscar because I wanted to stop the medication completely. I was given a chance to do it, I was not sure how to take it, but then I started to take it for a few years. I never tried to stop it because of the risk of a serious skin condition. So I decided to try and stop it completely. I started to lose about 3% of my hair every time I went out. I thought that it would take the right amount to stop it and the problem would go away and my hair would be back. It was not that bad, but I had started to lose a lot of hair as well.

If you want to know more about it, check out my website.

Dheheh, I don't think I've been on Finasteride for as long as I've been on it. When I started taking it, it was a bit of a hassle and it was hard to stop it completely. It was about 1-2 years ago when I started to lose my hair. My hair was still growing a little bit at a time, and I could not stop it, but I did. So it was a problem, but now it's gone. I can't use Proscar anymore.

As I said, it's not a drug that should be taken every day, but a daily dose that I take each day, and then once daily.

thanks again, and sorry if I bit too much. I'm sure youre right about taking Proscar but it can be taken daily, even if you have a hair loss. Just be sure you stop taking Proscar and start taking Proscar, even if you have a hair loss. It will help you to keep your hair and you will be able to keep your hair.

Thanks so much for the advice and sorry for the long reply.
